On 30^th July 2007 DR.Ragavendra Rao H.O.D Department of Zoology,  Osmania University gave a lecture on importance of Biology in future career.
We conducted a General Science Quiz on 30^th August 2007 that made students abreast of the latest inventions, discoveries & general Knowledge & inculcated a sense of healthy competition among students.
As a part of community service we had been to “Devnar Blind School at Begumpet on 1^st September 2007 . Awareness was brought among the students about Braille. 

We observed the international day for Natural Disaster Reduction on 10^th October 2007. Through power point presentations students were Provided with valuable information about different kinds of Natural Disaster their causes & reduction measures. The department of Zoology had been to Vanasthali Mruga vihar as a Field trip on 17^th November 2007 with the help of Department of Forest.  We had the opportunity to learn about new Flora and Fauna. We watched a documentary on communication among Animals which was educative and excellent.
 We observed the World AIDS day on 1^st & 3^rd of Dec 2007. Through power point presentation establishment of HIV Virus within the body cells was explained & preventive measures were highlighted. 
On 11^th Jan 2008 we planted the flowering plants in our premises to add beauty as we say that, the colorful flowers add beauty to the place where we live.
On 23^rd &24^th Nov 2007 the science club conducted their second event the science exhibition which being for the first time in ST.MARY’S.
