The Department of English along with the Literary Club celebrated the “Universal Children’s Day” on 20th November, 2008 in Theatrix after 2.30 pm. A list of programs hosted by the department entertained the audience for more than an hour. Students both from Degree and Intermediate took active part in the event.

Mr. Ebenezer, HOD Dept. of English, welcomed the audience and he brought to the notice of the audience that universal children’s day is celebrated by all the countries around the globe on the day, that is on 20th  of Nov. The program like solo songs and group dance by degree students entertained the audience. These were followed by a mimicry performance by the student of degree first year. The Intermediate students put the stage on fire by enacting their self written and directed skit. The 30 minutes comedy skit was very entertaining. The event ended with the vote of thanks given by the Intermediate student.
