Department of English conducted a Quiz competition on general topics like current affairs, history, politics, literature, awards and sports etc. 15 teams of 2 students each participated with full vigour and enthusiasm.  The first round was the elimination round and at the end of this round 8 teams were eliminated. The second part of the quiz competition was held in  the theatrix from 3 pm to 4 pm. The seven teams had five round of questions. All the teams particpated enthusiastically and won mostly in the current affairs and sports. The were little uncertain abou the questions in history and literature. At the end of the competition they suggested that such competitions could be conducted more frequently to encourage students and boost their competitive spirit.

The winners were as follows:

              Yasar              -  II Mec

The Quiz master Mr. Ebenezer conducted the quiz. He was assisted by Ms. Juhi Kaur and Ms. Lipika Choudhury, lecturers in English.
