The guest lecture was held on 27^th August, 2008, in the threatix at 12:45 to 02:15 P.M.

The topic was RECOMBINANT DNA TECHNOLOGY AND HEALTH CARE PRODUCT. The seminar was delivered by Dr. I. Subrahmanyam, Prof. & HOD Department of Biochemistry Aurora  Degree &  PG college. He said how the recombinant DNA technology is used to revolutionalize the Present drug trend. By this technology, it was understood that many diseases were cured and many vaccines were also prepared. Hepatitis B vaccine is also prepared by the same technology. At the end, he counseled students about the career opportunities in this field
