July 27^th marks an important day in the history of St. Mary’s College because it is celebrated as the founder’s day. This day is Mr. B Arogya Reddy’s Birthday, who is the founder chairman of the St. Mary’s Educational Institutions. Every year after this day on the 31^st of July is when the increment or any other benefits for the members of staff are announced. Following this the members of staff get together and host a lunch for the management to express their gratitude. On 21st July, 2009, the Secretary for Staff Ms. Aruna Kumari organized a grand lunch on the behalf of the staff members to honour and thank the management for their unconditional support and consideration.
