The 2nd of August 2008 marked yet another day on the list of social activites the students of biotechnology have been indulging into. The biotechnology students were taken to ittle Sister's old age home in Musheerabad. The whole visit was very positive starting with students volunteering to serve food to the aged during lunch. It was followed by an exchange of views and information about the elders' personal lives and how most of them had come to join that place. This part of the visit was the most informative & touching because it reflected the harsh reality of life and probably was a kind of an enlightenment for the students and must have left a deep impression on the minds of many. Then, there was a little bit of an entertainment where some of the students sang and danced before them to make them feel happy for a while. The visit to the church and the whole place around was very peaceful and positive. This put an end to the heart touching visit to that place which left the students and the lecturers as well, with many memories that will be cherished for a long time to come. |
