The department of Biotechnology observed an international day on Anti drug awareness on 5^th of August, to spread awareness on the effect of drugs on the human life. The program started with the welcome speech given by Ms. Sunitha Panigrahi HOD of the Department. Students took part in the event with enthusiasm. There were power point presentations given by the students of all the three years, the presentations had a detailed view on the different types of drugs, their impact on the humans, the statistical analysis on the drug intake by the different age groups. It was followed by a Group Discussion about the Drug Awareness. The program ended with vote of thanks given by Pooja Vaikari of BSc. Biotechnology final year.
