Community Service 2011

The Department of electronics organized a community service on 30th July 2011 to “Home for Disabled” near R.P road. It is a charitable, non-profit organization that works primarily for the welfare of disabled people.
After reaching the Home at 10:30 am and a brief introduction with the Head of the institution, the students were taken around the campus by one of the staffs. The students interacted with the disabled children and they spend some time with the children and distributed sweets. The students handed over the collected amount to the head of the institution. They were inspired to help such disabled people. On the whole it was a touching and an unforgettable experience for both students and staff of St.Mary's. The day ended with a sense of satisfaction among the staff and the students.
