Dr. Ch. Krishnakumari , Retd. Head, Dept. of Chemistry, Ramagundum
The lecture on ‘Making life out of Microbes’ was delivered by Prof. V. Laxmipathi. It was enjoyed by all the students.
Activity “ Play with periodic table” was conducted by Dr. Krishnakumari. This was enjoyed the most by the students. Students participated with great enthusiasm in it.
After that Demo experiments on chemistry like ‘Egg boiling in cold water’ and ‘Chemiluminiscense’ etc were conducted by Prof. Peesapathi and Dr. Jayathirtha Rao.
Workshop got a great response from students. Guests were happy to see the response of students. It was a great learning experience and an effort by the department to make Chemistry interesting and to relate it to our life. |
