As a part of the curriculum program and to enhance the practical awareness of the various subjects, the Department of Commerce conducted a Guest Lecture to the B.Com 1st year students on the 27-10-2010 on the topic- “Management and its Principles”. We had amidst us a very eminent scholar and noted academician Dr.Meera Naidu senior faculty from the Kasturba Gandhi College for women Secunderabad, with a very rich and vast experience of about 20 years.
The lecture started off with the speaker giving practical aspects of Management. The session covered wide overview of Management and its principles, levels of Management and most important thing the Henry Fayol’s 14 principles of Management. During this session the speaker narrated with several live examples currently happening in the market to make it more interesting thereby keeping the rapt attention of the students.
The students were interactive during the session and responded in a positive manner to the speaker thereby making the session thoroughly fruitful. It was an enriching session thereby the students were highly benefited by the lecture covering of broad overview of Management its Principles and how we use it in our day to day life .
