The department of Statistics conducted a ‘Quiz competition’ in Statistics for the students of BSc MSC/s and BCom II year on 18^th November, 2010 in the theatrix at 2:15 PM. The topic was undergraduate level statistics. Altogether 8 teams participated in the preliminary round. Five teams got qualified for the next level. It had two rounds – the question answer round and the rapid fire round. The given time limit was 30 seconds. Mrs. Jaimole Cross, the head of the department was the Quiz master. At the end of the event the results were announced.

The winners were Aditya and Sanjay from II BSc (MSC/s) and the runners were Md. Yasseruddin Khan and Kalyan of BCom IIC. The response was overwhelming and all the teams participated with enthusiasm and zeal.
