The Department of Statistics organized a guest lecture for the BSc students on 9^th December, 2010. Dr.K. Vani, Professor of Statistics and chairperson, Borad of studies,Osmania University, Hyderabad, delivered the lecture on the topic “ Reliability Theory ” . She motivated the students by giving the real life applications of reliability theory. She also imparted her knowledge towards the career prospects in statistics. It was an interactive session where in students participated actively.
