To inculcate moral values and social responsibilities, students of Zoology were taken to the Sisters of the Poor- Home for the aged on 30^th July 2011 located at Musheerabad. It was an enriching experience. Students learned that it was important to look after the parents and elderly persons with care. They were enlightened seeing the ways nuns were taking care of the old people with whom they had no relation except the relation of humanity. In the hearts of hearts the students might have pledged not to let the same plight of the elderly in their houses.They not only interacted with the inhabitants of the old age home but donated rice, pulses, soaps, cereals etc and pledged to visit the institution more often and make a difference to the lives of the senior citizens who by choice or force don't have families of their own.
