The department of Biotechnology has organized poster presentation competition on the occasion of seminar on” global warming and global journalism” in coordination with mass communication department.

 

The Seminar on ‘Global Changes, Global Journalism’ was organized in collaboration with the Consulate General of The United States of America.

 

The visiting dignitary Mr. Eric Roston is the chief guest of the event he was also accompanied by Ms. Juliet Wurr, Public Affairs Officer at the Consulate General in Hyderabad and Mr. Phalguna Jandhayala, the Media Advisor of the Consulate.

 

Students of I BSC biotechnology participated enthusiastically and presented visual posters on climate change with good messages. Phaninder of mass communication had won first prize and DAS prakash of IBSC BIOTECHNOLOGY won second prize in the competitions Mr. Mukesh Jain, a student of BSc. Bio-Tech II Year gave a very impressive Power Point Presentation on climate changes.The seminar given by Mr. Eric Roston made the listeners aware of impact of global warming on climatic change in various parts of the world.
