The Purpose of taking the students for the community service was to awaken the sense of responsibility towards society in the students of St. Mary's College. They were taken to Devnar School for Blind on Mayuri Marg Begumpet. The students generously donated and bought some ceiling fans for the shool. The reality struck them real hard when they saw the students with an impaired vision learning equally enthusiastically. They were impressed to see the scientific models, computer software and Braille books etc  used by them to understand the concepts.
