Event at Prerna 2011

The Department of Computer Science conducted the event ‘Test Your Wits’ as part of the college event Prerna-2011 to test the programming and debugging skills. Different teams participated from various colleges.
It included three rounds:
Round-I (Elimination round):
Because of the huge turnout of the participants the elimination round was conducted which included multiple choice questions and five teams were selected for the final rounds. The duration for this round was 30 minutes.
Round-II:
In this round, the participants were given a code with errors and they had to trace the errors and write the correct code within the stipulated time
(30 minutes)
Round-III:
This round included the questions wherein the participants were given the correct code and were asked to inculcate some errors which the other teams have to identify and correct it. The weightage of the marks was based on the type of error they inculcate and the way they trace the errors within the given time (1 Hour).
After the completion of the event the teams from Avanthi Degree College were declared as first and second prize winners.
