The Department of Physics  had organized Science Exhibition  as the part of the calendar of events. This was arranged along with the Department of Electronics and Chemistry.

 The Science Exhibition was held at the Physics lab in the college premises. It was formally inaugurated by  the Chief Guest of the day - Mr.Rajamouli , a leading Director of Telugu films. He was accompanied by his wife & costume designer ,  Mrs.Rama Rajamouli. Among the other dignitaries were the Chairman - Mr.B.A. Reddy, the Secretary - Mrs.Mary, the Director - Mr.Mahender Reddy  of St.Mary`s  group of Institutions and our Principal Dr.T.RabbiPuthiran.

 There was a tremendous  response  to the exhibition. Students from various colleges in the twin cities took part in the exhibition. Students prepared exhibits on topics like Nuclear Reactor, Various Electronic components, Telecommunications, Where does Electricity come from etc. They also prepared working models on Rocket, Thermoelectricity, Lie detector, Windmill Hydro electric power, Volcano, Water level indicator, Charging a Cell using a bicycle etc.

The students of St.Mary`s college took an active part in planning and organizing the event. While some of them went out to invite  other colleges, others kept themselves busy in decorating the laboratories.
