The Department of Psycholoyg in its efforts to enrich the academic experience of the students has conducted a Guest Lecture on ' The Relevance of Social Psychology in the Present Context' on 17/11/09. The guest speaker was Dr.P.Swathi, Faculty of Nizam College of Arts and Social Sciences and also a professional counsellor who has a rich experience in training and counselling adoloscents on various psychological issues. The main objective of the program was to create an indepth understanding of the subject in divergent perspectives that provides a rich knowledge base adn understand its relevance in the present context.The interactive and lively session was helpful in the learning process.This shared understanding and active participation has made this program a big success.
