Department of Commerce
Co-Curricular Activity - 8/10/09
The Department of Commerce conducted a competition on preparation of a proposed project report for setting up of a Business venture but the business has to be something new and innovative. The competition aims at helping the students develop their presentation skills and providing an opportunity to study and know the mode of presentation of proposed project reports for application of loans, sanctions or permissions. This has helped the students to do a thorough research on market survey, Budget preparation, steps to start a business, sources of raising finance etc. the students came up with very innovative ideas for setting up something new, few of them being organic farming, Nano houses, Choco Sip, Event Management with some new dimensions etc.

The Department of commerce congratulates the Winners of the competition - “An Innovative Business Venture” conducted in the month of October wherein the students had to prepare a proposed project report to set up the business. Please click here to view the best project.
