The second event of Literary club was Quiz Competition which was conducted on 18th of August 2009 in theatrix at 2:30 p.m. There were 14 teams in the Priliminary Elimination round which was conducted on 17th of August 2009.Handouts of 20 questions were given and the teams were instructed to complete it in 15 minutes. Ms.Olivia Lazarus, Head of the English department took initiative in conducting the elimination round.  On 18th of August, the qualified 6 teams participated in the main Quiz. There were two rounds - Question answer round and Visual round. The questions were related to politics, current affairs, sports, history  etc. All the teams participated enthusiastically. They  answered all the visual questions perfectly but were a bit hesitant to answer the general questions.The Quiz Master Mr.Ebenezer took the initiative in conducting the main event. His role as  a Quiz Master needs to be appreciated because his sense of judgement was amazing. He was assisted by Ms. Lipika, Ms. Juhi and Ms. Olivia.

The winners of the event were:
