Ms. Sunitha Panigrahi, HOD of Biotechnology had attended a one day seminar on “Current trends in Nanobiotechnology” conducted by Chaitanya Bharathi Institute of Technology, Hyderabad.
The expert lecturers were Dr.Tata Narsinga Rao, Scientist E and team leader for Center for nanomaterials, ARCI, Hyd. He spoke on “Commercial prospects of nano-materials: in the Indian scenario”, where in he explained of how the nanoparticles are made in the industries and their usage in the different fields of science.
Dr. Sunkara V. Manorama, Principal scientist, IICT, Hyd, spoke on the topic “Inorganic nanoparticles for biological applications”, she discussed about the micro-molecular usage in the various studies.
Dr. K. Venkateswara Rao, Head Center for nanotechnology, JNTU, Hyd, spoke on the topic “ Nanoparticles for Biomedical applications”. It was very enlightening, where he spoke on the various chemotherapeutic treatments, medical applications of these nano molecules.
The seminar was informative and it was a good opportunity to meet the many professors from many colleges and principal, secretary of CBIT.
