Science Club Event 2011

SCEI (Science Club for Emerging Intellectuals) was started in the year 2007-08 with an objective of stimulating interest in the science dissemination of information, enquiry, inculcating the spirit of curiosity, enquiry and to develop a holistic approach towards problems and to innovate new scientific methods for their resolution. With the remarkable progress of the team during the past years, it has successfully achieved its specific aims in elevating and acknowledging Science as part and parcel of their lives. This year the team held a highly successful event “Science Club Event” on September 14 that was attended by the Dean, faculty and the B.Sc and Intermediate students who were studying science as their fundamental subject.

Organization:
The Members of Science Club carries out all screening activities, major work, and constitutes the basis for valorization activities. The members includes :

•   Mrs. Shailma – HOD - Dept of Bio-chemistry.
•   Mrs. Sunitha Panigrahi – HOD - Dept of Bio-Technology.
•   Mrs. Sowjanya – HOD - Dept of Electronics.
•   Mr. Pavan Kumar – Dept of Chemistry.

This year the organization conducted a Power Point Competition and a Collage Competition, in which the students participated actively.
