The WDC has organized its first event in the year 2010. The event was 'Little Wioman-Miss. St. Mary's 2010'. the chief guest was Mrs.Chaitanya Reddy, Director of St. Mary’s college , yousufguda. The event started with a classical dance done by Srinisha, the alumni of our college. Welcome speech was delivered by Swati. There were many girls who had participated in this event, first round was a ramp walk where the girls had self introduced themselves, Rachel of the second year B.A had sung a melodious song. In the second round there were 11girls who were selected where they had a talent round for a minute. Swati performed a dace which geared up all the audience, the last round was a questionnaire round where only five girls had reached it. The question posed to them was how responsible are the women in todays society, the answers were written by the participants on the scribbling pads and then said by them. The crown was won by Kavya of B.A Mass com, first year, the first runner up Neha of first mass com, second runner up is Sonal of final B.Com. The programme ended with the vote of thanks given by the co-ordinator Mrs Deepa Agarwal.
