ALEAP- Association of Lady Entrepreneurs of Andhra Pradesh is an organization which is spearheading Entrepreneurial movement throughout AP with the thought that entrepreneurs are not born, but can be developed through well conceived and directive activities. The Association was established in 1993 with an aim to bring Women Entrepreneurs trying to help each other and work in collaboration for welfare Maximization and today holds the recognition of being one of India's premier institutions for women entrepreneurs totally devoted to the development of entrepreneurship among women.

ALEAP’s approach provides Counseling to the Women Entrepreneur through Facilitator and Business Development Cell (FAB Cell), Need based Skill development training, provides the much-required Infrastructure Facilities to start the Commercial activity and also Post-establishment assistance in the areas of Marketing, Production etc.

ALEAP offers incubator facilities where an entrepreneur can manufacture a product without investing on infrastructure. Incubator facilities are in Information Technology, Leaf Lamination, Jute Products, Note Book Manufacturing, Gem Processing and Garments Manufacturing.

ALEAP conducts skills up gradation training programs in various fields like Food Processing, Garments, Jute Products, Beauty & Cosmetic to name a few.  ALEAP also conducts a one month Entrepreneurship Development Program (EDP's) for beginners.

 The girl students of St. Mary’s got an opportunity to visit this wonderful organization on 15^th December, 2010. ALEAP situated in Pragathinagar, Kukatpally, Hyderabad was immensely proud in showing us the entire place which was completely run-by women. We got to visit some of the small-scale industries run-by women entrepreneurs who want to make a huge impact on the society. Some of the small-scale set-ups that we got to see were cardboard making, biscuit making, wafer making, fiber industry and the fashion designing lab which also gives an opportunity and training to young girls like us.

It was an honor to visit this institution run-by women and made us proud to be among them. It not only shed light on the power of women but also on the entrepreneurial capabilities we women have. We are very grateful and thankful to ALEAP, the college and the women working there who have by and large provided us the stage and confidence to launch ourselves into our future pathways.
