| Women Development Cell 2009 |

Purpose: This is the first event
of Women’s Development Cell for the year 2009-2010. The purpose of this event
was to start the year with something women could apply in their daily
lives.
Profile of the Speaker: Ms. Roshan is a
professional cosmetologist from the prestigious Shahnaz Hussain International
Institute. Ms. Aparna is an experienced Interior Designer and she works with
Exterior Interiors Pvt. Ltd.
Achievement: Ms. Roshan
demonstrated the technique of applying daily wear makeup on a student Khushboo
Bhatia and teacher Anju Prasad while answering a lot queries from the staff and
the students about makeup, skin care and hair care. She helped create awareness
in staff and students about looking presentable as a key to being
confident.
While Ms. Aparna gave some basic information about a one year course
in Interior designing and spoke at length about the scope of the career and
prospects.
