The department of biotechnology has motivated the students for the industrial trip to INDIAN IMMUNOLOGICALS at gachibowli with an intention to make the students aware on biotechnology research in industries. The students of BSC biotechnology was accompanied by the staff members Ms .Deepthi priya, Ms. shailima vardhini and Ms. sunitha rani. Students were accompanied by DR. Sridhar baidrinath from Indian immunologicals  to see the important sections of the  institute.He initially started with the brief introduction of white revolution and green revolution History of the  industry ,Types of vaccines produced in their industry which led to recent developments on vaccines He guided the students to visit the important sections of the institute. They visited cold storage room, Reverse osmosis plant, liquid nitrogen unit; They have also gone through vaccine storage room. Bacterial virus labs. Diphtheria toxoids labs, tetanus labs. rubella vaccines lab. The best part of the industry was the cold storage room which is maintained at -16C and -20C. Students have enjoyed by spending there for few moments. Students were enthusiastic and participated actively .Finally students have reached the college by 1; 20 pm.
