The Department of Physics and the Department of Electronics conducted a workshop on Applications of Digital Electronic Systems for II Intermediate (MPC) and I,II ,III B.Sc (Electronics ) students on 7th and 8th December.
The workshop was arranged in collaboration with PGP Electronics. The Departments have decided to have a tie-up with the company and organize at least one workshop every year. The motive was to empower the students with theoretical knowledge and Practical application of the concepts.
On December 7th, the Department formally inaugurated the workshop in the theatrix. The guest was the Chief Promoter, Mr.Rajeswar of PGP Electronics Private Limited. The program started with the lighting of the lamp by the Chief Guest,Dean,Principal and the heads of the Departments.The students of II BSc designed a logo for the workshop – ELECTRON 2k11. Mr.Shoeb of IIIB.Sc(Electronics) was the host of the program. After a brief session on Digital Electronics ,the students were asked to proceed to the Electronics Laboratory. Students prepared different projects like line follow robot, Obstruct robot, clap switch and smoke alarm etc.
At the end , certificates were given away to all the students who attended the workshop. |
