Students from department of Mass Communication went to COMMITS, a postgraduate media college in Bangalore for one-day Media Seminar, “Expressions-2012”. The speakers included Rajdeep Sardesai ,Editor in chief, CNN-IBN, R Balki Chairman, Lowe Worldwide and film director, Samar Khan Head of Television, Red Chillies Entertainment and film director, Pawan Kumar Director, Lifeu Ishtene and Sonal Dabral ,Chairman, Bates India Advertising
The students got introduced to various options existing in the media industry through the real life experiences of the veterans from various sections of the media industry such as Broadcast journalism, Advertising, Public Relations and Film Making. It was a great opportunity for the students to listen and interact with the people who know the pulse of the industry. Students had an enriching experience and this exposure has helped them in taking decisions about their future endeavors with a more open mind.
