The department had organized a field trip to GVK bio and Inogent on 26-07-2010 to impart the latest knowledge in the field of science. The day started with the presentation on Drug Designing by Dr. Sen who emphasized on personalized Drugs over the Generalised Drugs. He also briefed about the different branches and research projects going on in the company. This was followed by the laboratory tour, which left an immense impact on the students. Students were mesmerized to know the latest techniques involved in the field Research.  Students next visited Inogent thrilled to see the manufacturing of API (Active Pharma Ingredient) a component used in every drug. Mr. Deepanwita Chattopadhyay CEO of IKP (icici Knowledge Bank) guided the students on entrepreneurship in the field of pharmaceuticals.
