Guest Lecture on DNA Finger Printing

The Department of Biotechnology organized a guest lecture on DNA fingerprinting for all the students of Biotechnology.
Dr.K.Subramanyam Gupta, Professor in Biotechnology from Sreenidhi Institute of Science and technology, gave a very interesting & informative lecture on Molecular markers, Probes and their role in DNA fingerprinting. He explained this techniques role in investigations, Forensic Science, Crime, Military, and the parental identification. He also emphasized on career opportunities offered by CDFT, CCMB laboratories in DNA fingerprinting.
