The Department of Mass Communication arranged an educational trip to 42nd International Film Festival, Goa. Forty-four students from all the three years of B.A Masscomm joined the trip and were exposed to a wide range of films coming from across the globe. The aim of the trip was to introduce them to global cinema and to make them appreciate the varied possibilities portrayed through it. The purpose was to broaden their perspective with regard to filmmaking and see it in a different light.
The students got the wonderful opportunity to watch rare award-winning films belonging to different genres which helped them to understand finer nuances of Indian as well as international cinema. They also got a chance to meet and interact with well-known film personalities, both national and international, after each screening which helped them to broaden their perspective immensely in terms of various aspects of filmmaking.
