The department of Political Science arranged an Educational Tour for students of BA (Mass Communications) from 29th November to on 3^rd  December 2009. The students visited to view a live session at the Parliament – Lok Sabha and visited the Jawaharlal Nehru University – Department of Political Studies and Dept. of Law and Governance. 

ACHIEVEMENTS   The students were addressed by Prof. Valerian Rodrigues of Dept. of Political Studies on importance of Political Studies in modern times and its prospective future. He also elaborated on the various disciplines that have developed out of Political Science. Prof. Anitha Singh of Dept. of Law and Governance also addressed the students and explained how Law and Governance branched out of Political Studies and what is the nature and scope of the discipline and its prospective career opportunities.
