The Department of Psychology in its efforts to provide sound foundation for further and development of career in the field of Psychology offered a 2-day internship for students of B.A. I year at Durgabai Deshmukh Mental Rehabilitation Centre, on the topic- Mental Retardation and Stress on Teachers. The objective is to make learning an effective process by exploring the world of Psychology and to develop a wider perspective of the subject. The students have been awarded certificates for their work and loads of reward for their commendabe efforts to explore and learn. The internship has been effective in developing observation skills, enhancing or improving the understanding processes and also in acquiring a good knowledge base about the subject.
