The Science club, on 12 of August, 2009 conducted an awareness programme on the Environmental Hazards and Global Warming.   The day was started with the distribution of Green Bands to all the faculty members and the science club members.    This was followed by a programme in the seminar hall by an introduction to the Environment, its Pollution, causes and the simple preventive measures by Salman Allavi of III B.Sc.   The students of II B.Sc. prepared a model depicting the industrial effluents and its ill effects. Eco –friendly & economical refrigerator was prepared by B.Sc. III year students. The programme was concluded by distribution of Cotton Bags & nursery plants to the Management, Principal and Staff members.
