Akshara Singh

Akshara Singh joined St. Mary’s College in 2004 and has teaching experience that spans nearly 25 years. She keeps updating herself with the latest knowledge in her discipline and likes to interact with the students on contemporary issues and topics. Passionate about her work, she sets realistic goals and displays professionalism in her undertakings. She has served the institution as a member of several committees.

M. Chaitanya

MA (French), Advanced Diploma in Spanish

Lecturer in French

Chaitanya has nearly 10 years of experience in teaching, translation and interpretation (French and Spanish). She is proficient at teaching both teenagers and adults. A quick learner who can absorb new ideas and adapt to new challenges, her students greatly admire her teaching skills. She loves European languages and is currently mastering German.

G. Chris Lenina Peters

Lecturer in English

Chris Lenina Peters has worked in several institutions, including as Assistant Professor at Women’s College, Koti. Beyond academics, she spends her time in service of the underprivileged. She was awarded ‘Jewel of Telangana’ by Nexus ÉclatHonorsSociety International, Kansas, and USA. Her strong points are her positive attitude, dedication and commitment to her students. In addition to a Masters in English, she also has a Certificate of Proficiency in Spanish from English and Foreign Languages University (EFLU).

T. Ebenezer

Ebenezer comes with an experience of more than 30 years and has been an integral part of the institutions under St. Mary’s Educational Society since 1988. He is known for his dedication and commitment to his subject. He is popular among students not only as a teacher but also as a mentor and counsellor. He has served the college in different roles, including as Vice-Principal and as Chairman of the Examinations Committee. He has a passion for writing and peer teaching. He is an accomplished musician and trains choirs.

C. Ismail

MA, PGDTA

Lecturer in Arabic

Ismail has been in the teaching profession for about 30 years, andjoined St. Mary’s Junior College, Yousufguda, in 1997. He has been with St. Mary’s Collegesince its inception. He is dedicated to his profession and has been Head of the Department of Second Languages and a member of the Examination Committee. He continuously updates himself with the latest in the field of language and literature in order to guide students more effectively.

T. Joseph Christadoss

MA, M.Phil.

Lecturer in English

Joseph Christadoss has been teaching English Language, Literature and Communication for more than 30 years. He has been with the institutions of St. Mary’s Educational Society since 1997. For over a decade, he has been a key member of the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of St. Mary’s College and was its coordinator during two successive NAAC accreditations. He has been an effective resource person at various national seminars and workshops on quality enhancement in higher education. He also has a doctoral degree and several certifications in Advanced Leadership and Basic Counselling. Currently, he is the Head of the Department for Social Sciences, Mass Communication and Life Skills. He was recognized by the Government of Telangana with the State Award for Meritorious Teachers in September, 2018. He has also won the Indira Priyadashini National Award for Excellence in Education in November 2017.

A.S.Jyotsna

MA

Lecturer in English

Jyotsna teaches English and Soft Skills at St. Mary’s College. She also works with the Telangana State Police in offering Life Skills Sessions for the inmates of Chanchalguda and Cherlapallyprisons. She has nearly two decades of experience in teaching graduate and post-graduate students. She has co-authored a grammar workbook for undergraduate students and is currently working on a book for students of Engineering. She has translated the Hindi book on the principles of Kriya Yoga, Tantrasar, into English, for Belur Math, Kolkata. She received the Best Teacher Award from Ybrant Digital Technologies in 2010. Currently, she is the faculty mentor for VoxPopuli, the Public Speaking Club at St.Mary’s College and is also one of the coordinating members of the NSS Unit.

J. Michael Preetham

Assistant Professor of English

Michael Preetham has been into teaching and training for nearly 20 years. He has been with St. Mary’s College since 2013, prior to which he worked with several prestigious institutions in India and abroad. He comes across as amiable, industrious, dedicated and cordial. He constantly updates himself with the latest developments in the fields of Literature, Language and Soft Skills. A mentor to many, he makes a positive impact on the lives of his students, colleagues and friends. Currently, he heads the Department of English and Languages and the college’s Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC).

Olivia Lazarus

MA, M.Phil., B.Ed.

Lecturer in English

Olivia Lazarus has been into the teaching profession for more than 30 years, beginning her career with St. Mary’s Education Society in 1996. Teaching is her passion and she has won the admiration of many a student. A hard-working and sincere professional, she has served our college in diverse roles, including as Head of the Department of English and as Coordinator of the BA programme. Currently, she heads the Women Empowerment Cell (WEC) of the College.

Sahana Sampath

MA

Lecturer in English

Sahana Sampath joined St. Mary’s College in June 2018. She did her Masters in General English from The English and Foreign Languages University, Hyderabad (EFLU) . She specialises in the field of Translation Studies. Her profound ardour for theatre and English Language Teaching (ELT) has shaped her ideas on the theatre-based classroom teaching techniques, which she employs effectively. Buoyant and affable in nature, she loves working with young minds. She has an advanced level certificate in German from Max Mueller Bhavan and has done a beginner level course in Japanese from EFLU. Apart from English,German and Japanese, she is proficient in 6 Indian languages. Currently, she is the Faculty Mentor of Aayana, the Theatre Club at St Mary’s College.

Saikiran D

MA

Assistant Professor of English

Saikiran taught English at an engineering college before he joined St. Mary’s College in 2016. Prior to taking up teaching, he interned with an advertising agency. His research interests include Masculinity Studies, African-American Literature, Postcolonial Literature and Minority Studies. He has an eclectic approach to acquiring new information and learning new languages. He has Beginner Level Certificates in Russian and Arabic from the University of Hyderabad.

Ramasita Kodali

MA, M.Phil.

Lecturer in Sanskrit

Ramasita Kodali joined St. Mary’s college in June 2018. She has been teaching Sanskrit in several reputed institutions in Guntur and Hyderabad since 2006. She earned her Master’s degree from Andhra University and her MPhil is from Sri Chandrasekharendra Vishwa Mahavidyalaya, Kancheepuram. She is currently pursuing her PhD. Her fields of scholarship are in the study of Ethics, Mythological Epics and analyses of manuscripts. Her placid and sagacious nature enables students to approach her wholeheartedly.

Vasanth Rao

MA, B.Ed.

Lecturer in Sanskrit

Vasanth Rao has been teaching intermediate and undergraduate students for more than 10 years now. Prior to joining the St. Mary’s College in 2016, he worked with several prestigious institutions at Hyderabad and Vishakhapatnam. He is lively and amiable by nature and passionate about Sanskrit. He is committed to making a difference in the lives of his students and friends. He is also an instructor of Yoga and Meditation.

Yamini joined the Department of English in June 2017. Her specialization and area of research is Indian Writing in English. Prior to joining St. Mary’s College, she taught at the undergraduate level for 3 years. She is a highly disciplined and focused teacher. Her classrooms are very interactive and student-centric, with a lot of lively interaction with students. Music being her passion, she enjoys writing verses and singing semi-classical songs. She excels in Indian semi-classical music. Currently, she is the Faculty Mentor of Surmayee, the Music Club of St Mary’s College.

Amresh Kumar Awasthi

M.Com, MBA

Lecturer in Commerce

Amresh Kumar Awasthi teaches Commerce and Finance at St Mary’s College. He has nearly a decade and a half of teaching experience across different colleges. He also has eight years of industry experience in pharmaceutical marketing, including a stint as Regional Manager. He is a resource person in the field of personal investment and financial markets. He has also co-authored three undergraduate textbooks. 

Amulya Vunnava

M.Com.

Lecturer in Commerce

Amulya joined St. Mary’s College in June 2018. She has done her Master’s in Commerce with a specialisation in Applied Finance. She has also done a few certification courses offered by NCFM and NISM. She is certified as Market Professional by NCFM. Her profound interest in research has made her publish various papers and articles. She has also participated in various workshops and conferences. Her academic interests are Accounting, Finance and Taxation.

Amulya V. K. S.

Krishna Amulya joined the Department of Commerce in June 2018. After successfully completing her Master’s in Commerce with specialisation in Finance, she taught for a year at Loyola Academy, Alwal. She is a very positive person, always open towards learning new things. Her academic interests are in the fields of Law, Finance and Marketing.

Anjali

Anjali’s scholarly interests lie in the fields of financial modelling and banking. She has been publishing papers in national and international seminars from her student days. Prior to taking up teaching, she had a brief stint with a few financial companies and that enables her to approach commerce subjects from the perspective of practicability and industry requirements. Apart from her academic interests, she is an avid reader and inquisitive about learning new things. Currently, she is the Coordinator of B.Com Advertising.

M. Bikshapathi has over a decade of teaching experience at the undergraduate level. He has been with St. Mary’s College since June 2013. He has participated in several national and international seminars and presented papers. He currently coordinates the Bachelor of Commerce (Computers) programme.

Deepa Agarwal

Deepa Agarwal has been with St. Mary’s College since June 2008. A dedicated and student-focused teaching professional, she is committed to providing a well-balanced, supportive and learning environment to students. She is hardworking and systematic in planning and execution and shares an excellent professional relationship with her students and colleagues. She is conscious of the variations in student learning styles and abilities and is an effective teacher in diverse classroom environments. Currently, she is the Head of the Department of Commerce.

G. Durga Vaidehi

Durga Vaidehi joined the Department of Commerce in June 2017. In addition to her Masters in Commerce, she has also completed CA (Intermediate Group I). A dynamic and popular teacher, she is acknowledged as a fine repository of knowledge of the subject of Accounts. She combines her knowledge of theory with practical application to make her sessions useful and interesting to students. Currently, she is the Faculty Mentor of the Commerce Club.

Harini joined St. Mary’s College in 2008. A dedicated and committed professional with nearly 15 years’ teaching experience, she is focused on bringing IT education to undergraduate commerce classrooms. A dynamic teacher, she inspires and motivates students to be up-to-date with computers. She also takes a personal initiative to address issues related to staff and student welfare. Currently, she also coordinates the Bachelor of Commerce (General) programme at St. Mary’s College.

D. Jayalakshmi

Assistant Professor of Commerce

Jayalakshmi has been with St. Mary’s College since 2005. A popular teacher, she has consistently played the role of a mentor, providing the students with guidance at all levels. Over the years, she has served the college in diverse roles including as the Head of the Department of Commerce and Management, and the Head of Degree Programmes and Examinations. An able administrator, she was instrumental in initiating several reforms at the departmental level. Currently, she is the Coordinator for Alumni Relations at St Mary’s College.

Kavitha Thakur

Kavitha Thakur is a seasoned teacher with over 20 years of academic experience. She has been with St. Mary’s College since 2006. Kirti Sunil Bidnur

Kirti Sunil Bidnur joined the Department of Commerce in June 2018. Prior to joining St Mary’s College, she had 6 years of teaching experience from University of Mumbai. She is currently pursuing her PhD. She has published several research papers in reputed journals. She is very positive and has excellent communications skills. She has been a mentor to many students throughout her teaching career. Her academic interests are in Economics, Law and HRM.

Putta Padmaja

Raja Rajeswari Chilakamarthy

Raja Rajeswari Chilakamarthy joined the Department of Commerce in November 2017. Prior to joining St Mary’s College, she had a year’s experience teaching at the undergraduate level. She was awarded the ‘Outstanding Outgoing Student of the Year’ for her overall performance as an Masters in Commerce student. She has also successfully completed CA (Intermediate Group 1).

Ravi Kumar Tati

M.Com, MBA, PhD (Finance)

Associate Professor of Commerce

Prior to joining St Mary’s College, Dr Ravi Kumar Tati taught Finance and Accounting courses at European International College, Abu Dhabi. He has 21 years of teaching experience in various universities and business schools across India and abroad. He has been an Adjudicator and Co-guide for doctoral theses. As a Project Management trainer, he has trained senior bureaucrats on Public Financial Management at MCHRD. He has chaired sessions and presented papers in several international conferences and seminars. He has also published 13 articles in international journals, some of which are Scopus-indexed and recognized by ABDC. He has also worked on a UGC-sponsored major research project on Micro-Finance in Andhra Pradesh worth one million rupees.

Sri Sai Chilukuri

Supriya Pranav Gupta

Supriya Pranav Gupta teaches Commerce, Economics and Banking at St. Mary’s College. She has four years of teaching experience across different reputed colleges and other educational institutes, teaching at post-graduate and undergraduate levels, and also CA & CS students. Vinod Kumar Pattathil

Vinod Kumar joined the Department of Commerce in June 2018. After 23 years of teaching at various levels, he joined St. Mary’s College because of his passion for teaching. He has presented papers in conferences in Delhi and in Hyderabad, and has published papers in a few national journals. His current academic interests are in areas related to Taxation, especially GST. He has a very positive attitude and is known for his strong work-ethic, patience, hardwork and dedication. The ability to build caring relationships with students has held him in good stead during his long teaching career.

Anureetha Das

Anureetha Das is an academic with over 11 years of teaching and leadership experience. Prior to joining St. Mary’s College in 2017, she taught Marketing and Human Resource Management at reputed business schools and colleges. She has participated in various conferences, workshops and faculty development programmes. Anureetha Das is an expert in learning progressions and associated assessment tasks. She has been the Faculty Mentor for Exemplifiers, the Marketing Club of the College, since its founding. Currently, she is the Coordinator of the BBA programme at St. Mary’s College.

M. Bobby

Assistant Professor of Management

Bobby has been teaching and training both postgraduate and undergraduate students for more than 10 years. With a passion for teaching, he believes in nurturing students into role models for the nation. An avid reader, prolific writer and effective student counsellor, he has also co-authored three books, ‘Business Environment’, ‘Business Economics’ and ‘Business Policy and Strategy’. Currently, he heads the Department of Business Management at St. Mary’s College. He is also the Faculty Mentor for the Entrepreneurship Club at St. Mary’s College and has received formal training from the National Entrepreneurship Network.

C. Kusuma Reddy

Kusuma Reddy is a seasoned teacher of management with nearly 20 years of experience. A focused researcher, she enjoys writing papers and interacting with fellow researchers at various national and international seminars and conferences. She is committed to her students and has proved to be a popular project guide to many of them. She regularly arranges guest lectures and field visits to help students gain maximum practical exposure. Currently, she heads the Academic and Administrative Audit (AAA) Cell of the College and is also a member of the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC).

Payal Pattnayak

Payal Pattnayak joined St. Mary’s College in June 2018 with three years experience in teaching at the undergraduate level and one year experience in handling accounts of a company in the Automobile Industry. She is passionate about research and is currently pursuing her Ph.D. She has written and presented various research papers in International and National Conferences and Seminars. She has also published articles in renowned Journals. She believes in the overall development of students and invests time in motivating and guiding students to excel in all aspects of life.

Rajani Thomas

Rajani Thomas joined the Department of Business Management of St Mary’s College in June 2018 after having taught at the graduate and post-graduate level for over five years. Always academically inclined, she was the topper of her MBA batch. Her areas of expertise are Statistics, Operations Research and Business Analytics. She teaches papers related to Finance and Quantitative Methods. Currently, she is also the Faculty Mentor for Finvesta, the finance club at St Mary’s College.

M. Satya Swaroop Roy

Satya Swaroop Roy joined St. Mary’s College in 2019, prior to which he taught post graduate students of business administration for over six years. A versatile individual, he received the Award for the Best Teacher for his outstanding contribution in his previous institution. His research interests are in Human Resource Management and Finance. His work has been published in several International Journals. He is committed to ensuring that the needs of his students with diverse learning styles and abilities are met. He is a life member of the Indian Society for Technical Education. 

Shivani Mehrotra-Bajaj

Assistant Professor of Management

Shivani Mehrotra-Bajaj joined St. Mary’s College in June 2017, prior to which she had taught Economics and Management at National PG College, Lucknow and St. Joseph’s College of Commerce, Bengaluru. She was the university topper of Masters in Business Economics. A brilliant academician, she qualified the UGC-NET in Economics as well as in Management and has also successfully completed the NSE Academy Certification in Financial Markets(NCFM). She is inclined towards academic research and has written several papers, many of which were published and/or presented in national and international conferences and seminars.

Anu Victor

Lecturer in Computer Science

Anu Victor has been a lecturer in Computer Science at St. Mary’s College since 2007. Prior to joining St. Mary’s College, she had 6 years of teaching experience, having worked as a lecturer at ICFAI National College, Hyderabad, St. Francis College for Women, Hyderabad, and Christ College (now Christ University), Bengaluru. Goal-driven and ambitious, she is an enthusiastic and committed educator with a natural ability to inspire students. She is the Faculty Mentor of Spectra, the IT Club at St. Mary’s College.

V.Dayananda Babu

Lecturer in Mathematics

V. Dayananda Babu has been with St. Mary’s College since 2005. He has been into teaching and training since 1996. He has served our college in different roles, including as member of the Examination Committee. He is a certified internal auditor for ISO. He is also known for his ability to meticulously plan and organize events and activities. He is a mentor to many students. Currently he heads the Examination Division of the college.

Jaimole Cross

Jaimole Cross joined St. Mary’s College in 2004. Prior to joining St.Mary’s College, she had 6 years of teaching experience. A passionate professional, she is proactive and enthusiastic about building and managing the Department of Sciences. She believes in collaboration and in building good teams. A committed teacher with effective discipline skills, she works towards promoting positive behaviour among the staff and students. She has taken up important positions at different times. Her areas of academic interest are Operation Research and Data Analytics. Currently she is the Head of the Department of Sciences.

P. Kayal

Kayal joined St. Mary’s College in June 2018, prior to which she was teaching graduate and post-graduate Science and Engineering students. She has over a decade of experience in teaching and research in the domain of Computer Science. She has also had a two-year stint with the industry. She is passionate about research and her area of interest is Data Science in which she has submitted her doctoral thesis. She has several publications in journals listed with Scopus and Web of Science, especially related to machine-learning applications. Her expertise in Object-oriented paradigms and research-oriented software like MATLAB, R, and PYTHON has helped her run several training programs, especially providing Data Analytics and Data Science training using MATLAB and R. Currently, she is a member of the Research Committee at St. Mary’s College.

Manasa Machavarapu

Lecturer in Biotechnology

Manasa Machavarapu joined St. Mary’s College in 2017. Before this, she had taught in a reputed engineering college and worked as a research fellow for a UGC project. She has participated in many international and national conferences and published more than 10 research papers in journals, besides two monographs. She has filed a patent for one of her research works. Her areas of interests include downstream processing, food sciences and plant biotechnology.

P.S. Murthy

Lecturer in Mathematics

P.S. Murthy joined St. Mary’s Junior College in 1987 has held important posts, including as Vice-Principal,from time to time. He has held several administrative positions at St. Mary’s College, Yousufguda, as well, including Head of the Department of Mathematics and Statistics. Among the senior-most teachers at the college, he is committed to help students identify their talents and goals. A voracious reader and a globetrotter, he continues to be passionate about learning. Currently he is Faculty Mentor of Infinity, the Mathematics Club and Secretary of St. Mary’s College Staff Association.

Nagendgra Kumar Gollapudi

M.Sc.

Lecturer in Mathematics

Nagendra Kumar joined the Department of Sciences as a Lecturer in Mathematics in June 2018, after 8 years of teaching Mathematics to engineering and undergraduate students. He is presently pursuing his Ph.D in Mathematics from JNT University, Anantapur. His areas of academic interests are number theory, and the applications of differential and partial differential equations. Currently, he is a member of the Examinations Committee at St Mary’s College.

Noor Unisa

Lecturer in Computer Science

A passionate learner, Noor Unisa found her calling as a teacher and joined St. Mary’s College in 2017. She now strives to instil that same passion for learning in her students. Before becoming a teacher, she dabbled into web development and strived to create visually appealing sites that feature user-friendly design and clear navigation. Earlier, she taught for 2 years at St. Francis College for Women, Hyderabad. She was also a national level basketball player. Noor Unisa believes that actively engaging with students is one of the best ways to get them to follow directions and stay on task. Currently, she is the Coordinator of the BSc programmes at St Mary’s College.

Prathyusha Yamarthi

Prathyusha has been working as a lecturer in Biochemistry at St. Mary’s College since 2016. She is a self-motivated and goal-oriented professional. Having worked with prestigious institutes like the Centre for Cellular and Molecular Biology (CCMB), she has good demonstrative, technical and analytical skills in biochemistry, which she effectively utilizes to enhance learning. She is well-organized and encourages students to participate in various science events and activities. Presently she is the Faculty Mentor for Dazzlers, the Dance Club at St. Mary’s College.

S. Ravi Kumar

S. Ravi Kumar is a seasoned teacher with rich experience in teaching Statistics for more than30 years. He was a member of the Review Committee of the Intermediate Mathematics textbook and EAMCET textbook published by Telugu Academy, Govt. of Andhra Pradesh. He has also been the Chief Examiner for Intermediate Public Examinations in the past.

M. Sarvari

Sarvari has been teaching Chemistry at St. Mary’s College since 2015. She is proficient in her subject and has a passion for teaching and mentoring. She has evolved innovative teaching methods to make abstruse chemistry concepts simple and easy-to-understand. Her dynamism is evident in her accomplishment of academic and administrative tasks.She has been a member of the Examination Committee and a counsellor for admissions. Sowjanya has been working as a Lecturer in Electronics at St. Mary’s College since 2009. A dedicated professional who radiates positive energy, she is active and ever ready to take up new challenges. Her commitment to students is well-known and for many students she is the first person to approach to voice their concerns. Several students, especially international students, have found a caring mentor in her. She has organized many certificate courses as well as co-curricular and extracurricular activities. Amrit Amlan Pattanaik

Lecturer in Mass Communication and Journalism

Amrit Amlan Pattanaik joined St. Mary’s College in 2016 and has nearly 10 years of experience in teaching at different institutions. He is passionate about visual-storytelling and his areas of interest are documentary photography, graphic journalism and film studies. He is also actively engaged in media pedagogy, and creating and disseminating alternative media content. He has been to the Budapest Metropolitan University as a visiting faculty member as part of the Erasmus+ International Credit Mobility. He is the Faculty Mentor of the Photography Club. Currently, he is also the Coordinator of the BA Programme at St. Mary’s College.

Arpita Sengupta

Arpita Sengupta began her career as a journalist. From being a professional journalist, she then went on to teach students of journalism. She joined St.Mary’s College in June 2018 as an Assistant Professor after having taught undergraduate and postgraduate students for a year. Given her background as a journalist, her preparation of lesson plans always considers the interconnection between the student’s own background, the subject matter, and current debates in the field.  She chooses content and activities that are both significant and challenging for the students to stimulate them to go ‘beyond’ their comfort zone. She is interested in exploring new ways of disseminating information and the use of new media as a tool for news sharing. She has completed a Diploma course in Television Production and Screenwriting. She has also completed a Diploma in French Language at B1 Level (CEFR), Le Diplôme d’Etudes en Langue Française (DELF) “B1”.

K.T. Srinivas

K.T. Srinivas has been teaching at institutions belonging to the St. Mary’s Educational Society since 1998. He has an overall teaching experience of over 25 years. He also has rich experience of coaching students for various competitive exams like NDA, CDS and Civil Services. Although he is popularly known as General KT owing to his strict disciplinary approach, he is a friendly teacher, as many a student will vouch for. He is the Faculty Mentor for the Civil Service Study Circle on campus. Currently, he is also the Coordinator of the National Service Scheme (NSS) unit at St Mary’s College.

Radha Vardha

Radha Vardha has been teaching at St. Mary’s College since 2006 and has an overall teaching experience of nearly 30 years. A Doctorate in Political Science, she has attended several international and national seminars/conferences and has presented and published several papers. She is a life member of the International Political Science Association and is active with The Association for Democratic Reforms (ADR). She is also actively involved with NGOs working for the cause of child and women welfare. She is currently on Extraordinary Leave.

Babita Rajmohan joined St. Mary’s College in 2013 as Public Relations and Placement Officer. She develops and executes all aspects of the public outreach initiatives of the college. She is the single point of contact for all companies looking at hiring St. Mary’s College students and handles both internships and final placements. Currently, she also handles the Human Resources Management for the Academics division of the College. Prior to joining St. Mary’s College, she was Assistant Manager (HR and Training) for the Yashoda Group of Hospitals. She is a vibrant and fun-loving personality. She is full of life, loves to travel and explore new places, and trying out new cuisines.

Annie Antony

Annie Antony is a long distance open water swimmer and a certified swimming coach, holding a Netaji Subhash National Institute of Sports [NSNIS] Diploma in Swimming and Aquatic Sports from the Sports Authority of India. She secured the 4th Rank in her Masters in Physical Education and holds a degree in English Language and Literature. She is also a Landmark Graduate from the world famous Landmark Educational Corporation that offers leadership and effectiveness for individuals and organisations. She has extensive experience working with multinational corporations and educational institutions. Currently, she is also the Faculty Mentor for EdFit, the Sports and Fitness Club at St Mary’s College.

Divya Mercy has a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology. Prior to joining the St Mary’s College in June 2018, she has worked in various schools and colleges as an Educational Counsellor, with experience in both the field of education and Counselling. Her strong desire is to help young people with their academic, personal, and social needs. She particularly enjoys and excels at helping and guiding students to set academic and social goals for themselves. As a counsellor, she helps students realise their potential by focusing on their accomplishments and reflecting on past successes by promoting positive self-concept.

Seema Naomi Seth

Seema Naomi Seth joined St. Mary’s College in the year 2017 after doing her Master’s in Applied Psychology with specialization in Counselling. A highly skilled and dedicated mental health professional, she works towards helping students cope with emotional problems and challenging situations by using a range of psychological concepts and psycho-therapeutic techniques. Rather than simply offering solutions, she encourages them to take their own decisions and assists them by offering a structured and focused way of addressing their problems. She is compassionate and has a sensitive approach in dealing with others. She focuses on promoting safety, understanding and good mental health.

Vinay Kumar is a highly qualified library professional. He has an MA in Economics as well as a Master’s Degree in Library Science. He also has successfully completed his B.Ed degree and a PG Diploma in Library Automation and Networking in addition to qualifying the UGC-NET, with scores in the top one percentile. Prior to joining the St Mary’s College, he has worked with other reputed institutions including the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), Hyderabad and the National Institute of Technology (NIT), Warrangal.
